My students are taking career electives and earning industry-based credentials in the areas of web design, video editing, and social media marketing. Students are highly motivated by seeing their certificates printed out and hanging up in the classroom.
You donation will allow my students to print their certificates in full color!
Students are also required to create a portfolio that includes printed copies of their resume, letters of recommendations, and samples of their work. A new printer will allow students to complete this requirement and have work samples that they are proud to show off and display.
My students are beginning to learn the basics of graphic design, and it is important that they are able to see how their projects look different when printed than when on a screen. Because our course content is entirely online, and many students work better with a paper copy of material, we print a huge number of pages each day! This printer will allow us to print quickly and efficiently!
