My Students
P.S. 307 has been for many years a Pre-K through grade 5 community and Title I school servicing children from the Farragut Housing Development in Brooklyn.
We recently became a Magnet School STEM Studies and as a school of choice we aim to attract students from diverse social, economic, ethnic, and racial backgrounds.
Students from all districts and all boroughs can attend our school.
We prepare students to meet the academic standards and provide for the development of strong character.
My Project
Our students in grades 2-5 participate in School-wide Enrichment Clusters based on the work of Dr. Joseph Renzulli.
Enrichment clusters provide students opportunities to investigate personal/world issue for which they have to come up with a product or extend a service - exercise video/tips; website design; food preservation techniques, etc.
Because students work in groups across grades, these ID badges and lanyards will be an easy way to know at a glance which students are in which cluster station and what their interests are. We've found that students take pride in wearing the badges because the cluster station is one of their choosing.
