My students need 4 digital recorders and 24 AAA batteries.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Pierz's classroom raised $288
This project is fully funded
I teach 5th-8th grade students with special needs at a charter school in a high-needs community. Most of my students have learning disabilities related to poor short term memory. This makes reading, writing and math most difficult for them.
My students are extremely creative and have many things to say. However, they have great difficulty remembering what they are thinking long enough to get it clearly down on paper. After they write, they reread what they wrote and become frustrated realizing that what they put on paper wasn't the message they were trying to get across to their audience.
My students would greatly benefit from digital recorders! If they could record and play back their thoughts it would cut down on their frustration because they wouldn't forget all their wonderful ideas!
Your donation will allow my students to express their thoughts and feelings clearly. Thank for for giving them a voice!!
