it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My school has had the great opportunity to give students Chromebooks that they can use during the school year. The students can used these Chromebooks to complete: assignments, tests, research projects, and stay connected if they are home sick or away at a school function. It is their responsibility to charge their Chromebooks at home and be ready to go while at school. Now, this is ideal but realistically not always going to happen. And after possibly using a Chromebook for 6 hours in school, the charge on it might not last for all classes especially in the afternoon.
This is why I am requesting for some help in my classroom.
Currently, there are outlets all around the room to try to give students the option to charge in class and I even have some extension cords already. I am finding it not enough. Students located directly in the middle of the classroom just don't have the accessibility to charge their Chromebooks due to where they sit and limited extension cords.
My goal for this project is to give my students all around accessibility to charge Chromebooks and keep up to date with notes and assignments in my class. This would also help them stay charged up for other classrooms as well.
