My Project

My students are all exceptional kids with some areas of weakness in reading and reading comprehension.

These materials will help boost confidence and give my students the tools they need to fill in each child's specific learning gap.

They will be able to take the books home to practice the reading skills we are working on in small groups each day. The phonics dominos will allow them to manipulate letters and build words. The highlighters will help them focus and make reading more fun. The more practice with engaging texts and hands-on materials these students have the quicker they will become proficient, confident readers.
