My Project
My students come from low economic backgrounds in the Pee Dee region of South Carolina. All students receive free breakfast and lunch. My students are eager to learn and usually always in need of a snack. I like to provide students with some nourishment when it is needed.
These snacks will help students Recharge and refocus so that they can complete their lesson without a grumbly stomach. Many students need these snacks before lunch because they missed breakfast, or after lunch because of the midday hunger pangs.
Students eat their snacks while completing their lesson or activity, and do not get hungry.
