My Students

My students are active, engaged, and full of curiosity! They absolutely love hands-on projects and challenges that allow them to think and problem solve! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow together!

Our school is located in Cedar Rapids, IA.

Many of my students come to school looking for support, structure, and stability. This school year will be full of unknowns and this project would help support student success in the classroom.

My Project

This project would allow my students additional time to create with many STEM and collaborative games and activities. The bins would help house the games and activities within my classroom. My students need a creative outlet and time to work on socializing with others.

Games such as Crazy 8's and Go Fish give students a fun opportunity to practice working with others and communicate with them.

Magnatiles and brainflakes among many other activities allow students to create whatever their heart desires instead of trying to create something specific. This free time allows them time to find what toys and activities they enjoy working with the most.
