Recess Fun for All!

Help me give my students engaging and socially interactive recess equipment to stimulate their bodies and minds.

My Project

We have 60 students in our grade who are at play during recess times. The recess equipment we currently have to offer the students is on limited supply and is snatched up quickly. More students want the opportunity to play with fun, engaging equipment. Students have specifically requested new soccer balls, footballs, basketballs, and four square balls, as the balls we currently have at recess struggle to stay inflated. They have also requested a new large jump rope for Double Dutch since the one they use is missing a handle. The other items requested will provide new and interactive ways for the students to stay active and have fun with cooperative play during recess time.

Recess time is fundamentally important to students' physical, social, and mental development.

This recess equipment will benefit our second grade students by providing them with quality exercise, social engagement, and much needed mental breaks from the rigor of academic work.
