My Students
I am a first year teacher in a third grade class this year! My students were mainly attending school virtually last year, so my students are very excited and energetic now that we are back in person. I have 20 students in my class who are diverse in race, socioeconomic status, and in their personalities. I have loved growing and getting to know my students during our time together so far.
My students love to have class discussions, and I have so many active participants who love to share their ideas!
I love having discussions in all subjects including math, science, ELA, and even about our class and school rules.
My Project
Please help me provide some items to help students have more options at recess! Right now my class has a limited amount of playground equipment due to the pandemic and I want to provide other options including jumpropes, chalk, and a soccer ball!
I have also included snacks because they are also essential for my students.
Many of them get hungry in the middle of the day before lunch, especially if they do not have time to eat breakfast before school. Having a healthy snack at recess will help fuel their bodies and keep their brains active!
