My Students

My students are simply the best! They are curious, creative, smart kids who are destined to be world changers. They come to school each day excited and ready to learn. They are huge fans of hands-on activities, inquiry lessons, and thinking outside of the box. I do my best to mix it up and provide them with lots of opportunities to move and be engaged. They are nothing if not wiggly worms. This year I am hoping to provide them with new equipment to play with outside.

My Project

I currently work in a title one district and do not have outdoor equipment for my students to play with. We spend a lot of time playing on the playground and making up games that do not require balls such as tag, red rover, and the floor is lava. I know that they would love the opportunity to play other games such as soccer, football, basketball, and kickball. They need the opportunity to get pent-up energy out and really enjoy the outdoors. Please help me bring extra joy to their recess time!
