This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we all know, the students have returned to in-person learning and with budget cuts, schools don't have the means to purchase enough equipment. With that being said, the students should have the equipment to play with at recess. It's essential because recess allows students to take a break from the expectations and structure that you find in a classroom. This leads to the students having a chance to take control of what they want to do, even for a short amount of time. Also, recess allows the students to be physically active, which is beneficial for their health.
