My Project

In the heart of our high school lies a kitchen—not just a place for cooking, but a space where creativity, confidence, and community are meant to flourish. As the culinary arts teacher, I’ve taken on the challenge of rebuilding and revitalizing this program, not just for the sake of recipes and techniques, but for the students whose futures are shaped by hands-on learning and real-world skills.

Our kitchen, however, tells a different story.

Much of the equipment is outdated, worn, or missing altogether. The tools I need to teach safely and effectively—mixers, ovens, prep stations, and utensils—are either in short supply or no longer functional. Despite these challenges, our students show up with enthusiasm and a hunger to learn. They deserve a space that matches their passion.

This is where we need your help. Rebuilding this program isn’t something I can do alone. It takes a village—community members, local businesses, and partners who believe in the power of education and the importance of preparing students for meaningful careers. By supporting our efforts through donations, you become part of a story that’s bigger than any one classroom. You help create opportunities, build confidence, and inspire the next generation of chefs, entrepreneurs, and leaders.
