My Students

Do you remember being able to participate in fun interactive activities and being able to choose books at your leisure to read whenever you want that are on your level? My students want to have that back!

My students are eager to learn.

They love their hands on activities. They all attend a Title 1 school where they are constantly supported by thier friends and teachers. Most of my students receive free or reduced lunches. Many of thier social skills are acquired during the school day. My students want to come back in August to a fun, welcoming classroom.

My Project

My students lost everything that they loved when a terrible F5 tornado came through and took away their school. I hope to give them a little bit of normalcy back. By having a movable bookshelf with dividers, my students will be able to choose books at their leisure that are on their reading level. Through the use of puzzles, students will be able to reinforce their skills that have been taught to them by their teachers. My students enjoy centers during small group instruction time. Stamp pads allow them the opportunity to work on their spelling words, sight words, or even compose a small sentence. They love hands on learning!

By providing support for my project, my students will be able to get back a little bit of normalcy.

It is very important that they have the materials needed to be able to do independent activitites while I am teaching small group. It is so important for students to gain independent learning skills. Thank you in advance for helping bring a sense of comfort and normalcy back to my students.
