This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are good kids who are still learning how to be leaders.
They get encouraged by learning about others around the world, past and present.
My students need basic supplies so they can do daily assignments and create amazing projects to share with others.
This school is starting a STEM program and need supplies to support this program so we can achieve our goals for our students.
I want my students to be able to achieve everything they wish for in life and keep learning to be leaders.
My Project
We have wonderful kids, and they need basic school supplies (such as a printer, pencils, tissues, paper, markers, and more). The hurricane damaged our classroom, and it is currently being rebuilt. Most of the students lost everything they had, so when they come back to school, we hope to have their basic school needs met.
Our students are excited to come back to school, and we are ready to care for them.
In our history class, we will learn from this event and learn from the past to improve the future. Our class is doing group-led projects and learning social skills. We just need the basic supplies to have a functional classroom. The extras on list the list like snacks are for tutorials after-school and stickers to encourage them with their work.

Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
