My Project

I serve a spirited group of students at my 6th-8th grade middle school as their school librarian. My students are funny, curious and very opinionated. They represent a range of neighborhoods and wards from across Washington D.C.

My students are voracious readers who enjoy books that represent subjects where they can be entertained, learn and grow as individuals.

While my students enjoy reading ebooks, they crave the traditional touch and feel of a print book.

My students enjoy reading realistic fiction and desire print books that they can add to their personal libraries at home. These books reflect events that are relatable, taking place in the world and narratives that they can relate to.
