My Project
As a teacher who just absorbed another entire class, my time is limited to help support small group learning opportunities and intervention. I have been blessed with 27 inquisitive 4th graders. They work wonderfully together and continue to expand their minds. They love to read but hate to solve math problems. I saw these mystery books on an advertisement and they have the potential to be solution. Students read the books during the reading or intervention block. They get to do the task they love in a genre that they love! In math, they can apply skills to solve the problems stated in the book. In science block as we play the games for adaptations they can apply the fractions content to how they build their animal’s habitat.
