This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Gifted and Talented students are a curious bunch! They enjoy learning, asking questions and making connections.
While our textbooks provide a plethora of knowledge, my students are always asking for more.
These magazines can provide what a textbook cannot. These magazine subscriptions would help them make connections from what they learn to real-world connections.
Both magazines would facilitate excellent conversations as well as help deepen their understanding of content knowledge in a meaningful and engaging way. Additionally, they can also keep up with current events, which is always a source of conversation in our enrichment classroom.
