Real-World Applications + Materials = Advancement in Education
Help me give my students the materials they need to apply their solutions to real-world problems and applications with our project-based learning initiatives.
My students are innovative problem solvers who address real-world challenges for both the school and the community, demonstrating genuine engineering capabilities. They employ technology, design, the arts, and research to tackle practical issues, integrating math, science, and language skills in the process. This year, they are developing a booth to showcase their projects, utilizing their artistic talents to achieve this objective.
As critical thinkers, my students enhance their learning by solving real-world issues and conducting research, using various materials to evaluate and refine their problem-solving strategies to develop a solution and bring full circle for the client.
They will work with a variety of materials to design, laser print, construct, and realize the ideas they have developed on paper. Through this process, they will bring their concepts to life while also applying their skills to address actual issues. They plan to utilize a vinyl cutter and heat press to create lettering for various project elements. The interplay of art, problem-solving, and critical thinking is essential, as it fosters team building and communication skills among students.
