Real-Time Translating Headphones for Non-English Speaking Students
Help me give my students headphones that translate English to Spanish in real-time so that they can understand and benefit from instruction with the rest of the class.

My Project
Real-time translating headphones would allow my two non-English speaking students to understand and participate in learning just like their peers can. Currently, I am stopping instruction, typing what I need to convey in a translator app on my phone, playing it out loud for them to hear, and having them speak back into my phone for it to translate back to me. This achieves the bare minimum of communication and causes the lesson to keep stopping.
With these headphones, I can teach the lesson in English, and the headphones will translate my words in real-time into Spanish to be played in their ears.
The headphones also have a setting that allows us to each wear one and have a conversation with each other that we both understand.
With these headphones, the language barrier will cease to be a barrier to knowledge and inclusion.
