This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Let's be real, today's teenagers are dealing with a lot. This podcast will be a platform for high school students to have real, respectful, and unfiltered conversations about current events, social topics, school life, and cultural perspectives through the lens of their generation, Gen Z/Alpha, while occasionally comparing their views with Millennials (you!) or special guests.

High schoolers have strong opinions and big questions, but rarely have a platform to express them safely and openly.

That's where this project comes in. Think Millennial big sister vibes meets real-world discussions; no scripts, no lecture, just raw, real talk. Each episode will center on themes like identity, technology, social media, mental health, relationships, school systems, and more. We'll talk about everything from "Are phones ruining relationships?" to "Why don't schools teach life skills?" and "What does success look like for us?"

Students will host episodes, interview guests, and even compare perspectives across generations. Bridging the gap between what adults think they know and what students are actually going through. This isn't just a podcast. It's a movement to empower youth to own their own stories, challenge stereotypes, and speak truth with confidence.

But to do this right, we need equipment. A quality camera to film the podcast. Microphones to make their voices clear and powerful. Lighting that brings out classroom studio to life. Every dollar you give helps a student find their voice and know they matter. With your help, we can turn an ordinary classroom into a creative, safe space where student voices are respected, heard, and celebrated.
