My Project

My high school English Language Learners work hard every day to improve their reading skills, but most materials available for language learners are made for much younger kids in mind.

I’m asking for a subscription to Scholastic Action Magazine, which offers stories written in accessible English for teens, and a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card to purchase supplemental material for vocabulary and grammar instruction.

The Action Magazine articles are current, relatable, and come with resources like audio-visual support, vocabulary support, and frames for the academic skills needed to boost understanding not just in the English Language but in a High School classroom.

My students are smart, motivated, and full of potential—they just need the right resources. With Action Magazine, they’ll feel more confident, be more engaged and keep growing as readers and thinkers.
