My Project
Our students need your help to become informed and financially savvy citizens! This project will equip my students with vital competencies through Scholastic News and "Money Games."
Staying informed about current events is crucial for engaged citizenship.
Scholastic News provides age-appropriate, high-interest articles that connect classroom learning to the real world. It fosters critical thinking, civic engagement, and improved literacy skills, sparking meaningful classroom discussions.
Financial literacy is an essential life skill that many young adults lack. Money Games offers an interactive way to teach crucial concepts like budgeting, saving, understanding credit, making wise spending decisions, and basic financial planning.
My students have diverse backgrounds and varying exposure to these topics. This project will create equitable learning opportunities, making learning fun and engaging. Money Games provides hands-on practice, building confidence in managing finances.
By providing these resources, we empower students to become informed, responsible, and financially secure adults.
