My class is full of students who come to school happy and ready to learn. They are full of energy and are very inquisitive about the world around us. They thrive when given hands-on learning opportunities.
My students love to learn when they have engaging lessons which challenge and stretch them.
I like to integrate subjects so my students are learning language arts and math skills while engaged in interesting science and social studies units. For instance when we learn about life cycles, I bring an incubator with chick eggs into the classroom and we observe the chicks as they hatch and grow. We write about what is happening and do many math activities which correspond with the chicks and eggs. I find that my students are much more engaged when learning is new and fun!
My Project
The headphone hooks will help us protect our headphones and keep them close to the students to facilitate faster transitions. Students will be able to access their individual headphones when using student iPads for learning.
Having an organized classroom is essential to maximize an optimal learning environment for my students!
Timers will help students organize their own time while completing independent work. This helps students learn to be responsible for their own learning.
Finally, the Lulu books are hilarious. They are a perfect chapter book to engage second graders at a reading level that is beneficial for them.
Thank you for considering helping with this project.
