Help me give my students owl pellets to dissect instead of watching it online.

My Project
In 6th grade science, students explore ecosystems and how the organisms within them interact and depend on one another. A key focus of this unit is learning about food chains and food webs.
To provide a rich, hands-on learning experience, students will participate in an owl pellet dissection.
This activity allows students to investigate real-world evidence of predator-prey relationships and better understand the trophic levels within a food chain.
By identifying the remains of various organisms, students will gain a clearer picture of energy transfer through an ecosystem and how each organism plays a role in maintaining balance. This hands-on experience deepens understanding and fosters engagement in ecological studies.
More than a third of students from low‑income households
