Help me give my students hands on science! This incubator will last forever and serve so many students.

My Students
We are an arts focused 4-8 school in southern California. Our staff is dedicated and inspired to integrate performing, visual, and culinary arts into our academic curriculum. We also have a focus on giving back to the community and environment.
We manifest a culture of acceptance and diversity.
Students, staff and community work together to ensure the students who leave our classrooms are productive, responsible, civic minded citizens, with not only a vision to make the world a better place but the skills to deliver.
My Project
I serve a population of students with diverse learning needs. What they do have in common is a love of science, animals and nurturing.
This incubator and supplies will help students learn about the life cycle, development, and environmental studies.
The chicks that are hatched will be residents of our school garden. Students will be able to care for their chicks throughout their five years at LMAAC.
Students will have an opportunity to deeply understand the relationship between animals and the environment. Fertilizer will be used to harvest the garden, eggs donated to the culinary department and chicken love for everyone!
More than a third of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
