My Project

Being the teacher of a Computer Science class in a poverty stricken neighborhood can be challenging. I would like to provide my students with multiple opportunities to code, to game, to have not only the curriculum but some real life experiences as well. Some times when I have discussions about certain things, some of my students do not understand because they can not afford to have gaming consoles at home.

I would like more hands on experiences instead of only being able to offer online coding websites.

So I am attempting to build up the other opportunities to learn within my Computer Science classroom.

We are learning about Gaming and Animations this year and I would love for my scholars to have some more first hand experiences with these things. We have one Oculus but I would like at least one more and a couple other consoles to be able to show or experience different sorts of games.
