This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

By receiving an egg incubator, my students will be allowed to study the life cycle of a chicken from start to finish. There are not many hands-on materials located at my school that allows the students to see a visual representation of life cycles.

By receiving the egg incubator, my students will be allowed to see that chickens hatch from eggs.

Since my students live in the city, in a high poverty area, they do not have the opportunities to really experience where things come from. Being able to hatch chicken in science will help younger students understand the life cycle of chickens.

Please help make this real classroom experience happen for my students!
