My Students
Triumphant Learning Center is a small charter school that range from K-8th grades with about 100 students in the entire school. I teach the 5th-8th grade math and science classes. The school is located in a small rural town in southern Arizona. My students come from all varying backgrounds. The demographics of our students are predominantly low-income and struggling. I hope to make the world a little smaller for each student and open doors to new adventures. They are eager to learn and conquer the world.
My Project
My students are in a small school in a small community with very limited resources. I always strive to broaden the world for my students and provide opportunities for them to access the world. I believe that a life sized human model of our basic organs will help with that goal. My students will be able to study biology and see the inner workings of the body. As of now they are unable to do this.
An understanding of biology will broaden the world and career options for my students.
I believe giving my students access to as many resources and opportunities as I can. This model will improve my students learning and get them excited about learning. I am excited to have this teaching tool in my classroom and help my students achieve great things as learners and people.
