At MLCPA, we strive to encourage our students to develop a love for literature and language. We are filled with joy when we see them walking across campus with a book in their hands!
Our students are hard-working, driven young men from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities; their goal is to be the change this world needs!
They are curious learners and critical thinkers who have bright futures ahead of them. No matter what their age, middle school or high school, they love to have fun and are super competitive!
My Project
These items, the Crystal Growing Experiment, Kindles, and LEGO kits, will serve as prizes for our annual Literacy and Science Night! We want to enrich our students' interaction with English and science activities not only at school but at home! Students from grades 6-12 participate in super fun literacy and science activities to win exciting, educational prizes! We get at least 100 kids in attendance each year. At Literacy and Science Night, we give away books, bookstore gift cards, zoo tickets, and more.
This year, we want to up our prize game to get more students reading, learning, and having fun!
It's the most exciting academic night of the year! Our boys thrive when it's clear that we'll do anything to enrich their education; this will help.
