Scholastic magazines and Time for Kids provide real images of our world inside their magazines as well as providing students to view videos that make the articles come alive. It is my goal to enrich our curriculum and ignite the curiosity of my class. Scholastic and Time for Kids magazines are also structured to support all learners through the incorporation of text features, photographs, and exciting topics.
These magazines also help the students meet our states standards.
They provide a different media to learn literacy, science, humanities and math. They allow the students to see how the skills they are learning can be applied in real life scenarios. Making learning fun and real life.
These magazines allow students to see learning can be done outside of textbooks and worksheets. That there is a purpose to all the knowledge they are learning. That all these resources allow them to see the world in real life situations.
