Help me give my students the tools we will need to have a successful school year. The mechanical pencils will ensure we are social distancing and not sharing supplies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Barth's classroom raised $284

My Students
Our school is a Title I school with many students receiving free or reduced-price lunch. Many of the students at our school are considered economically disadvantaged. Some of them live in poverty and have experienced trauma. Despite this, they are sweet, capable children who are ambitious and hungry for learning.
I have the privilege of working with 35 Kindergarten, first, second, and third grade students who are passionate, curious, and eager to learn how to read!
They come from diverse backgrounds and each has their own way of learning. My students will work hard this school year to strengthen their foundational literacy skills, so they can become successful, literate citizens who will make a difference in our community. They are amazing children and deserve the very best!
My Project
These supplies will help us learn to read and succeed this school year! Since I do not have a traditional classroom, I do not get funding to purchase school supplies for my students or the office supplies I need to lesson plan and teach. The supplies purchased by parents at the beginning of the school year are for the child's classroom teacher to use with their class. My students will use these new supplies every day when they come to my room to complete their daily reading intervention lessons.
Your donation will supply us with the mechanical pencils, lead, erasers, sticky notes, paper clips and staples we need to succeed.
With these new supplies I will be able to plan and prepare engaging, research based reading intervention lessons for all of my students. My students will be continuing traditional, in-person learning August 24th. Your generous donation will also ensure each of my students stay healthy and safe by being able to use their own mechanical pencil. This will also ensure social distancing is maintained and writing supplies are not shared during the COVID-19 pandemic.
