Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The books selected are part of our prek curriculum. We have 3 read alouds a day. Students learn about music, water, and simple machines. These books help reinforce those subjects. Other books help students understand feelings and emotions to help the students to self regulate and discuss their own feeling and emotions at home and at school.

The books also reinforce the alphabet, rhyming, and counting.

After each book is read a few times, it gets placed into the class library and other centers for students to read on their own.
