My students love to perform and retell stories to anyone that enters our room. This skill provides opportunities for them to practice public speaking and creativity.
My students are a fun loving group that loves to perform.
Through the use of these storytelling sets they will provide hours of opportunity for them to be creative and be able to put together skits for visitors into our room. This will also allow for us to use other materials within our room to create the "setting" of the story for them to perform with. It will allow for them to work in small groups and be a team that will perform for their peers.
My Project
My students will be working on public speaking, recalling details of a story, creativity, and working together as a group to perform. We will use these storytelling sets to provide entertainment to parents, teacher, students, and administrators when they enter our room.
My students will be able to develop their creative side.
We will use these sets not only to retell the story but to create the settings and backgrounds with other art materials within our classroom.
