This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project is for our preschoolers who are beginning their literacy journey. These students are excited and engaged during our read aloud that takes place everyday. The students are exposed to important topics, visuals, and literacy.

These books help to encourage and empower their confidence towards reading.

The students are able to access the classroom library that lets them "pretend" they're reading as they follow along with the pictures and words. The exposure to pictures and words expands their imagination and early literacy. Students also learn appropriate book handling skills.
