My Project

My classroom is a diverse population consisting of students ELL students as well as students with IEPs. Engaging and quality literature is a key factor in assisting students to become authors and illustrators. This book will enhance the print-rich classroom that I am looking to create. In addition to the books, students will utilize various art supplies to illustrate the books that they write and publish on their computers. Computers are an integral part of our means of differentiation. A computer charging station is just what we need to make sure all students can access their differentiation needs. Eighty-five percent of our students live below the poverty level and are highly motivated by a reward system. Motivation is a driving force in our diverse classroom community.
