My students are learning to love reading and need a lot of high quality material to keep them engaged. First graders are just learning to read and the excitement they have when they can finally read a book on their own is priceless. They need books of all levels and interests to meet them where they are. Funding this project will give them the opportunity to have access to quality books and each child will be able to have a book box of their own to story their current reading selections in.
