Help me give my students a variety of learning materials. Having magazines, levels books, headphones to listen to stories, dry erase boards to write on and supplemental teaching materials will create a print rich learning environment.
My scholars are simply amazing. They are funny, smart, energetic, and excited about school! They work hard every day to learn and achieve. They have developed a classroom culture of supporting each other and working well together in groups and as a whole.
My scholars know that achievement allows them to create a positive outlook on their future, gives them more self-confidence, and work towards and achieve the personal goals they have set for themselves.
They build each other up and want to be successful not just as individuals, but as a class unit. Each day, they work towards their goals and I want to continue to support their dreams.
We support each other in our learning. Covid-19 will not stop us from building relationships. We find new ways each day to support each other emotionally and academically.
My Project
My scholars are very excited about learning to read and write. They have discovered the processes of sounding out words to read and write. They are engaged during lessons and enjoy the process.
I want to continue their excitement by buying materials that will grasp their attention during instruction, allow them free choice to select books that spark their interest, and give them creative and engaging activities during reading and writing.
As a teacher, I model what I expect from my scholars. I need supports to make my instruction more engaging. Getting supplemental reading materials to enhance my lesson plans will provide opportunities enhance the learning occuring in my classroom.
