My students are in grades first through fifth who may need extra support in reading and language arts. I get to work with small groups of 3 to 5 students at a time.
We are not only increasing our reading skills, but also working to build a love of learning and reading!
My Project
These phonics and phonological awareness games and activities will help to encourage strong readers while making learning fun! I see my students every day for thirty minute time periods. We pack a lot of reading skills into a short amount of time. While we are together, we read lots of books, have discussions about what we are reading and work on strengthening any weakness in reading and language arts that they may have.
These materials will help to support the skills and standards we are learning in small groups.
The students will be able to choose an activity that accompanies the skill we are learning that week. This games will be a great addition to the learning we are doing while making reading and phonics fun.
