My Project
Help my struggling readers in grades Kindergarten - 5th grade become confident “Ready Readers”. Learning to read can be hard at first, but with the phonics books, magnetic boards and letters in this project, my students will grow to become independent word solvers and confident readers.
My students need many opportunities to practice developing phonics skills taught, and apply the skills taught by connecting their learning to a text they are reading.
Using the phonics readers and materials, my students will read targeted books that focus on specific phonics sounds, as well as spelling and writing words.
They would grow in reading so much, but we need your help to build a library of decodable readers that would give my students many opportunities to enjoy and learn to love reading! Your donation will put a smile on many students’ faces.
