My Project

Our school serves grades pre-kindergarten through 5th, which means that as the only technology teacher in the school, many of these students and I will have worked together for seven years by the time they graduate. I love watching them grow, mature, and thrive from three years old to eleven years old.

In order to ensure that our upcoming technology classroom student work presentations are both engaging and effective, I am requesting the addition of three key items: a chair, digital clickers, and a standing desk converter.

Each of these resources will directly support both student learning and presentation quality.

Our lab has limited free space, and students are trying to view the interactive board from many angles. A height-adjustable chair is essential for my students to sit in front of the room while not blocking the screen with the presentation. Digital clickers will enhance the interactive component of our presentations. They allow for seamless slide navigation, freeing the student presenters from being tied to a computer station. This mobility not only improves delivery but also encourages presenters to engage more directly with their peers, strengthening communication and confidence.

Finally, a standing desk converter will offer flexibility during presentations, giving students the choice to present either seated or standing. This adaptability fosters professionalism, supports varied presentation styles, and accommodates the physical needs of all learners.
