We have some of the most AMAZING students in our school! While many face some unbelievable challenges each and every day, my kids come to school ready to learn! My students are excited about math especially Station Fridays.
At a high-needs school in Brooklyn, my students face an unimaginable range of challenges on a daily basis.
One thing that is constant in their life is school. Each day, these students come to class and try their best, despite any obstacles they may face. It is hard to get students excited about learning when they are faced with poverty and homelessness.
My Project
Having a charging station and extra USB cords in our classroom gives the students an opportunity to have the technology charged and ready to go at the start of each school day. Our classhome desperately needs this charging station! We have 5 outlets and a class set iPads it is impossible to ensure that ALL iPads are charged 100% each day.
Upgrading our charging station will benefit our classhome tremendously!
By having a charging station and USB cords, my students will be able to use their iPads when necessary and not have to wait nor will the iPads die.
