My Students
Middle school is a highly formative time in a child's life. Middle school students are constantly learning about themselves, others, and the world in which they live. During this period of rapid growth, the learning needs of kid vary greatly.
My middle school students are energetic, enthusiastic, and empathetic.
They need a diverse learning environment and a range of supplies to allow them to develop both academically and socially.
Our school is located in the center of the city and serves about 700 students from the city itself and surrounding towns. Our school's magnet theme is Social Justice and 100% of our graduates have been accepted into college.
My Project
This is a simple project. Students need basic supplies whether they are learning in the classroom or online. By donating, you will help me provide my students with materials they can use wherever they will do their learning this year.
Each welcome package will set the students up to be prepared for all their classes.
Each student will receive a pencil pouch filled with a mechanical pencil & lead, a dry erase marker & eraser, colored pencils, scissors, a pen, and a treat.
While there is so much about this school year that is unknown, by receiving this welcome package students will know they are prepared for learning. Parents can be assured that their child will have supplies to use for both in-person and remote learning. Additionally, it will support all classroom teachers since supplies cannot be shared in the traditional ways. With all the uncertainty, this will allow us to eliminate one area of concern and help us focus on learning, health, and safety.
