My Project

My project will help all of my students who do not have the means to purchase supplies that will enable them to be successful in my classroom this year.

Almost 90% of my students come from single-parent households or are currently homeless, and are not able to go out and buy the supplies needed to be successful in the classroom.

Students will benefit from having chart paper for projects, cleaning supplies, and lights for the classroom. The printer ink and copy paper go a long way for my students who cannot print their assignments out at home, and to be able to do this in class will be instrumental in their success. The various classroom cleaning supplies, tissues, and hand sanitizer are so that our classroom can stay healthy. I also am asking for classroom staples that are always in need, such as copy paper, Expo dry erase markers, command strips, highlighters, and construction paper that will be used in all of our academic lessons and projects, which will allow all of my students to participate and not worry about where their supplies will come from.

My goal for this project is to alleviate the worry and anxiety of my students and their families who are unable to provide the necessary class materials. Your generosity makes this possible!
