My Project

Kindergarten is a crucial time for students to start their school career off right. Kindergarten students learn about personal space as well as the skills necessary for first grade and beyond. This rug will allow for my students to have their own space without someone intruding on their space OR their learning.

There is so much to learn!

I look forward to using this rug as a social circle time as well. Social circles allow students to learn how to respectfully listen and respond to others in their classroom. Social emotional skills allow students to work with others during school.

This carpet will allow not only a comfy spot, but also a way for them to realize that they have their own areas to sit as well as their friends.
