My Students

This year I have the privilege of teaching a wonderful group of super smart third graders who are eager to learn and even more eager to reach goals set before them. More than 60% of my students are from low socioeconomic households, and lack access to the most basic of technological resources.

Many of my students are capable of being ranked among the brightest students in the state, but these socioeconomic challenges place restrictions on just how far they can truly go due to their limited resources.

My Project

I am focused on creating an inviting and motivational classroom setting by way of technology.

Students are driven by technology, and what better way to get them excited to learn than to incorporate what they love into their academics.

Our students thrive in any setting that applies to their interests,and this year we are determined to push them beyond the limits they thought existed, through the use of technology.

We will use the Fire tablets with Alexa to gain access to computer sources aimed at closing gaps in academics and boosting confidence within our little scholars. This year is the year we will beat all the odds by incorporating their greatest interest with their highest need.
