This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Being quarantined during the last 3 months of the school year has really made things quite interesting. Our classroom is lonely and missing it's students and teacher. Our students are disconnected, they're missing their school, their friends, and the excitement of getting up every morning and putting on their backpacks.
Currently, students are doing the best they can to complete assignments remotely, while maintaining a positive attitude about our new distance learning reality.
Whether they are using tablets, computers, cell phones, or receiving paper packets... our kiddos are trying their very best to make the best of an unprecedented situation.
My Project
While at home students encounter fun times and not-so-fun times. Giving them a summer writing notebook will encourage them to express themselves as well as document an unprecedented experience. Not only will they get a notebook and a writing tool, but they will also receive a curated set of stickers to begin personalizing their covers!
Students will be able to hold a hard-cover writing notebook that will last forever!
Your donations will help grow their penmanship, spelling, grammar, and creativity! You will be cultivating a healthy coping skill in journaling during a global pandemic.
