I am over the moon to kick off a new school year with my 26 first grade students! My students are a diverse learning community with a wide variety of learning styles and needs. They come from many different socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds. Even with our differences, together we form a classroom culture with a passion for learning and mutual respect.
We become a family who strives to learn about the differences in each other and come together despite those differences.
They will learn how to collaborate and work together through problem solving so I want to provide them with all the best tools. My students deserve to have engaging and fun ways to learn through a variety of resources.
My Project
This year, my students will work at tables instead of desks. Using tables promotes collaboration and fosters interactive learning among students. The transition from desks to tables presents the challenge of finding alternative storage for their daily materials that is not disruptive to learning.
The classroom set of seat sacks will help my students remain focused and keep them organized while also allowing them to work in groups.
The organizational skills of the seat sacks will help keep the daily routine flow in a timely manner. Finally, these seat sacks will benefit and last for many more classes to come! Thank you for your time, caring, and giving back to our community! It will mean so much to our class.
