Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The purpose of this grant is to provide tricycles for our preschool-aged students and to enhance our outdoor play area. Tricycles are vital for promoting independence, spatial awareness, and the development of gross motor skills. They also contribute to strengthening core and leg muscles, while fostering increased self-confidence in young children.
Many of our students were affected by rightsizing last year, resulting in our school starting with minimal equipment for our young learners.
Acquiring outdoor equipment will enable us to develop a comprehensive and engaging outdoor learning environment for our students.
