Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Ready, Set, Read project will help my emerging readers get the opportunity to begin on their reading journey. These books and reading activity building kits will jump start my students into the world of reading. With these beginner reader books, my students will be able to have daily practice reading books that are on their level and also fun and exciting. My students are so eager to learn, and by fulfilling this project, they will have books that will encourage them to read. With engaging first reader books, my students will see what reading is all about. I hope to encourage them to read because reading is the basis for all subjects that they will eventually begin to delve into. I am an avid reader. I hope to instill the importance of reading to my students. These books will help me motivate my students to read, which in turn, will make them want to read more. Reading can take you anywhere and I’d like to start my students on the journey to READ!
