My Project
Research shows that students who read just 20 minutes a day will be exposed to over one million words per year. I truly believe the key to helping a student grow and be successful is teaching them to love and value reading.
I want to help all of my students learn to love reading by giving them an inviting place to read that includes a wide variety of books.
I want to build excitement about reading in the classroom with a new and improved classroom library. This space will be used to motivate my students to read independently by exposing them to numerous books for all interests and reading levels and offer opportunities to read in a warm and cozy spot.
